Key2Green organized its 5th consecutive annual exhibition AGRI, DAIRY, POULTRY & FOOD FEST at Lucknow from 22-23-24 October 2016.

The international exhibition included concurrent events on Agriculture (Agri Fest 2016), Dairy (Dairy Fest 2016), Poultry (Poultry Fest 2016) and Food (Food Fest 2016) and we have been organizing this international exhibition, every year, since 2012 with great success.

The exhibition covered sectors such as agriculture, dairy, poultry and food processing and associated new technologies. The event also facilitated consecutive dialogue among stake holders, secured policies around these sectors as well as farmers’ related issues and challenges. The event also explored the possibilities of investment in these areas to promote them in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Like previous four editions this year also thousands of progressive farmers, traders, investors, executives, scientists, students and other Stakeholders visited the exhibition. FEST 2016 witnessed participation of representatives from Poland, Germany, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Italy, Canada, Algeria, Uganda, and Bangladesh besides visitors from all across India.

Like prior year’s exhibition this year too, we received incredible responses from multiple industries. With our broader objective of aiding the primary sector based industries, we received participation from more than hundred domestic, foreign, multinational, micro, small, medium enterprises, central and state government departments.

As in the past, Kamdhenu Schemes in Dairy and Poultry Development Policy run by the State Government were the key attractions of the event. Besides this the exhibition included showcasing of new products such as processing, packaging & printing machineries for dairy industry, fodder, Poultry Feeder, Drinker, Cages, Automatic Plants and many other such companies belonging to the related products demonstrated their advanced technology. In addition, farm machinery such as tractors, tillers, Rotavator, Seeds, Organic products, Bank, Farm Tires, JCB Machine etc demonstrated their products. Also, a good number of central and state government departments also showcased their schemes, policies, accomplishments.

This year we received tremendous support from departments and NGOs associated with the promotion and development of the primary sector like Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH), Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare; GoI; UP Livestock Development Board (UPLDB); Dept. of Animal Husbandry, Govt. of UP; ATMA Cell, Dept. of Agriculture, Govt. of UP.

The expo was inaugurated by the CHIEF GUEST Shri Alok Ranjan, IAS (Retd), Chief Advisor to Hon’ble CM, Government of Uttar Pradesh in the Gracious Presence of Dr. Rajesh Babu Varshney, Director (Administration & Development), Department of Animal Husbandry, GoUP Dr. BBS Yadav, CEO, UP Livestock Development Board (UPLDB) and Dr. AN Singh, Director (Disease Control & Farms), Department of Animal Husbandry, GoUP. The second day Shri Ziauddin Rizvi, Hon'ble Cabinet Minister for Animal Husbandry, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh also visited the exhibition with other officials of the department.

AGRI, DAIRY, POULTRY & FOOD FEST continued its momentum by organizing its fourth edition. This year the exhibition was inaugurated by Mr. Rajneesh Gupta, IAS, Principal Secretary, Department of Animal Husbandry, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh in the gracious presence of Mr. Wouter Verhy, Counselor Agriculture, Embassy of Kingdom of Netherlands in India and Mr. Nawab Ali Akbar, President, UP Poultry Farmers Association. The expo welcomed international delegates from Russia, China, Egypt, Suriname, Holland, Africa, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Pakistan, Myanmar, Iran and Afghanistan. Around 100 exhibitors put their stalls with a gross area of around 5000 sqm. The visitor footfall was maximum this year, a total of around 30,000. This is a whopping 50% rise compared with the last year’s footfall.

The three-day event served as an excellent platform for exploring a highly potentional region untapped so far with new business opportunities in the emerging areas of dairy, poultry, food processing rightly supported by the policies and schemes of the state government. The exhibition was a showcase for the sector’s latest technologies and solutions to agriculture farmers, scientists, dairy farmers, poultry farmers, dealers, distributors, innovators, manufacturers, suppliers and other stakeholders in these sectors. The profile of exhibitors included Farm machinery like tractors, tillers, rotovators etc.; Agri inputs like seeds, fertilizers, pesticides etc.; Dairy farming machinery like milking machines etc.; Poultry farming equipments like automatic drinkers, feeders, cages etc.; Cattle and poultry feed, fodder manufacturers and machinery suppliers; Milk and other food processing machinery manufacturers; Bakery machinery and ingredients manufacturers; Processed food manufacturers and suppliers; Publications and online portals related to these sectors and many Central & State government departments

Thanks to its high standing for the last 3 years, and its establishment as the focal point for the Uttar Pradesh’s growing and diversified agriculture and allied market, AGRI FEST 2015 witnessed good participation from domestic enterprises & MNCs from across India and abroad. AGRI FEST along with DAIRY, POULTRY & FOOD FEST has become the only continuing event in world’s largest sub-national entity Uttar Pradesh serving its agriculture and allied sectors.

Following this year’s success, the upcoming 5th edition will be taking place from 22 to 24 October 2016 again at Lucknow (India) bringing you an even wider scope of prospects and endless opportunities to expand your business network by meeting with industry players and decision makers in both the private and public sectors, maintaining its reputation as the largest agriculture and allied sector fair in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

The 3rd edition of AGRI FEST 2014 concurrently with DAIRY FEST, POULTRY FEST & FOOD FEST 2014 was successfully conducted by Key2Green at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh (UP) from 10-12 October 2014 with an aim to strengthen these sectors in the state of Uttar Pradesh, thus bringing investments in the state through PPP or other knowledge based models. The 3rd Edition of the FEST was officially opened by Dr. Rudra Pratap, Director, Department of Animal Husbandry, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh.

Each edition of this Fest is getting bigger & better both in terms of number of exhibitors and visitors. The fourth edition saw 45% and 36% increase of exhibitors and visitors respectively. This year the Fest witnessed the largest no. of foreign participation as exhibitors so far. Both domestic and foreign exhibitors showcased their latest products and innovations in the field of agriculture, food, dairy & poultry sectors.

Altogether, around fifteen thousand farmers and trade-only visitors made their way for the 3rd edition of AGRI, FOOD, DAIRY & POUTRY FEST 2014. Participants were not only from across the country but also from the countries like Russia, England, Ethiopia, Holland, Zambia, Libya, Cameroon, UAE, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh & Bhutan who found it an interesting show displaying a diverse range of products & services catering to the different sub-sectors of agriculture industry.

Exhibitors in the FEST included companies operating in the field of Farm machinery, agri-inputs like seeds, pesticides, insecticides, bio-fertilizers, shedding nets, agricultural pipes, processed food like cheese, dairy & poultry farming machineries & equipments, animal health, etc. Apart from these there were different central & state government departments disseminating information regarding their various schemes, policies, extension activities & innovations in their respective fields. There were B2B portals, publications and other software related to business activities who displayed the techniques & advantages of joining them in promoting the business ventures to the national & global level.

Most of the visitors & exhibitors said that this FEST has the potential but need to adopt a more aggressive marketing & promotional activities to reach to the targeted audience on a wider scale and thus becoming one of the leading trade events in the agriculture & allied sectors servicing not only Uttar Pradesh but also nearby states like Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand and even further.

Uttar Pradesh (UP) is India's most populous state, as well as the world's most populous sub-national entity. It is the second largest state economy in India. Keeping in view the vast potential of the state, it has major role to play in ushering in farm sector led economic growth of the country. This Fest was particularly relevant in Uttar Pradesh where farmers grow a number of crops, but face problems in enhancing production and productivity because of inadequate exposure to high technology and inputs as also to advanced production practices, logistics and marketing.

The 2nd Edition of FEST 2013 was officially opened by Dr. Rudra Pratap, Director, Department of Animal Husabandry, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh.

Visitors started pouring in even before the official inauguration of the exhibition. The 2 edition was bigger & better both in terms of number of exhibitors and visitors. Exhibitors showcased their latest products and innovations in the field of agriculture, food, dairy & poultry sectors.

Altogether, more than ten thousand farmers and trade-only visitors made their way for the 2nd edition of AGRI, FOOD, DAIRY & POUTRY FEST 2013. Participants were not only from across the country but also from the countries like Taiwan, USA, Japan, Belgium, Libya, Rwanda, UAE, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh & Bhutan who found it an interesting show displaying a diverse range of products & services catering to the different sub-sectors of agriculture industry. Most of the visitors & exhibitors said that this FEST has the potential to become one of the leading trade events in the agriculture & allied sectors servicing not only Uttar Pradesh but also nearby states like Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand and even further.

Apart from the several deals being done by key buyers and decision makers, some manufacturers chose this FEST as the stage to launch a raft of new products into the region – the reach and reputation of the event making it a vital part of most companies’ promotional campaigns.

CLAAS India, headquartered at Germany, participated in a big way by foraying into the technologically backward market like Uttar Pradesh to showcase the farmers advanced farm machinery used over the globe.

JAIN IRRIGATION, world leader in micro irrigation, also displayed a diverse range of irrigation equipments & solar systems.

JSW Steel used this platform to venture & showcase its strength in the Silos for agriculture & grain storage.

TATA Motors formally launched its pickup vehicle TATA Xenon in Uttar Pradesh. It is quite useful for the Dairy & Poultry industry as well for transportation of milk & live birds.

We organized AGRI, DAIRY, POULTRY & FOOD FEST 2012 from 18-20 October 2012 in Lucknow. The 1st edition of 2012 FEST was officially opened by Shri Kunwar Anand Singh Ji, Hon’ble Minister of Agriculture, Govt. of UP. The exhibition was a success and has the potential to become one of the leading regional trade events in the agriculture & allied sectors servicing not only Uttar Pradesh but also nearby states like Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand and even further.

The exhibitors showcased their latest products and innovations in the field of agriculture, food, dairy & poultry sectors. Altogether, thousands of farmers and trade-only visitors made their way for the 2012 edition of AGRI, FOOD, DAIRY & POUTRY FEST 2012. There were visitors from not only across the country but also from the countries like USA, UK, UAE, Sri Lanka & Saudi Arabia who found it an interesting show displaying a diverse range of products & services catering to the different sub-sectors of agriculture industry.

With a market size of USD 181 billion, food and food products are the largest consumption category in India. Domestically, the spending on food and food products amounts to nearly 21% of the GDP of the country and constitutes the largest portion of the Indian consumer spending more than 31% share of wallet. The importance of the Food Processing sector becomes more important with the fact that, India being an agrarian economy, it has the potential to raise farm incomes, reduce wastages, ensure value addition, promote crop diversification, generate employment opportunities as well as export earnings.

Keeping in view the above as motivation, Key2Green organized a National Conference–cum-Exhibition on Food: Processing, Packaging & Export for multiplying the growth of the food sector in the state of Uttar Pradesh and preparing it for investments & tapping new business opportunities

The Chief Guest of this conference was Dr. Pradeep K. Sharma, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, CSA University of Agriculture & Technology and he was joined by other distinguished members on the dais like Shri R. B. Gupte, Director, MSME-DI; Shri Naveen K. Khanna, President, Indian Industries Association; Shri Surendra Gupta, MD, Goldiee Group and Shri Suresh Gurnani, Secretary, UP Biscuit Manufacturers Association and Mr. Dharmendra Gupta from Bry-Air (Asia)

A Souvenir on this occasion was also released by the chief guest and the copies were also distributed to all the delegates. Souvenir contained the business and investment opportunities and environment in the Food Processing sector of Uttar Pradesh.
